MileCards.com’s research study also found that 40 percent of the leading 50 U.S. airports have more summer season than winter hold-ups which June is the worst month for summertime hold-ups — with more than three-quarters of the 50 busiest airports experiencing more frequent hold-ups in June compared with July or August.
