HGTV’s smash hit, Fixer Upper, and the show’s impossibly-adorable/talented stars, Chip and Joanna Gaines, are all about rebuilding. Now the married couple, who are themselves huge fans and residents of Texas, are joining to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey.
In addition to their wildly popular show, Chip and Joanna Gaines have become giants in the land of home renovation and have amassed a farmhouse-style empire complete with lines of furniture, clothing, beauty, oh yes – and renovated homes. Also on their list of accomplishments: a Bed and Breakfast, Bakery, A flagship Magnolia Market built of silos, and vacation rental(s).
Their first vacation rental, The Magnolia House, recently began accepting reservations for January 2017 through June 2017; they booked out completely in a matter of 7 minutes! The shiplap-clad house, which sleeps eight, isn’t exactly an economy hotel, it ranges from $695-$995 per night.
Aside from the success of their show and spin-off, the couple has an obvious love for all things Texas. Based in the Waco area, the Fixer Upper Gaines family did not have to endure the flooding and devastation left in the wake of Hurricane Harvey. But, devoted to their home state, Chip and Joanna have devised a way to help Texas and donate funds to the areas in need.
Magnolia Market is selling t-shirts with the slogan “Texas Forever”. Their Instagram page had this to say,
“This undertaking is not too big for us if we are all in, Let’s help restore these towns together.”
Until the end of September, 100-percent of the proceeds from the Gaines’ “Texas Forever” t-shirts will go toward helping Texas communities rebuild.

As of this time, the shirt is selling quickly and may need to be restocked before shipping, but if you place your order before September 30, the proceeds will still go toward helping Harvey victims.
