Rocker Jon Bon Jovi has the number one album in America – ‘This House Is Not For Sale.’ The smash hit collection of songs, which was originally released and rocketed to number one in November of 2016, has made a triumphant return to the Billboard Artist 100’s highest spot.
The title seems completely serendipitous, given that the singer/songwriter has just purchased a massive Palm Beach, Florida mansion.
The house that was for sale is a nearly 7,000 square-foot stunner located at 230 N. Ocean Boulevard. The new digs set the New Jersey native back a cool $10 million. According to the Trulia listing, the home is Mediterranean-style with five-bedrooms. Built in 1985, the house was constructed the same year Bon Jovi was playing a concert in Shibuya Kokaido, Tokyo, Japan on their 7800° Fahrenheit Tour.
The spectacular property features breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. Which may be a little nod to JBJ’s newly-launched Diving into Hampton Water rosé. The performer, along with his son Jesse Bongiovi, unveiled their venture during this year’s South Beach Wine & Food Festival.
The “Livin’ on a Prayer” artist may soon be living on a barrier island. And he’ll be in good company, since his newly-purchased place is near radio personality Howard Stern as well as New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and just a short jaunt from President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago.
More good news for the “It’s My Life” singer; he is a 2018 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee. On Sunday, March 11, the band Bon Jovi will be honored with the inaugural Icon Award for their endurance, legacy, and impact on popular music over the last three decades.
Bon Jovi’s This House Is Not For Sale Tour kicks off in Denver, Colorado on March 14 and concludes May 14 at Capital One Arena in Washington, DC. Their only Sunshine State date is at Orlando’s Amway Center on April 18.
Welcome to South Florida, Jon Bon Jovi, we think you’ll love it as much as we do.
