Man killed on Tri-Rail tracks in Lake Worth

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue confirms that a man died after being hit by a train south of Lake Worth on June 27th.
Tri-Rail said via Twitter that police activity created traffic delays on the Miami-Fort Lauderdale-West Palm Beach commuter line. Tri-Rail provided a bus bridge for passengers riding the train.
The spokeswoman ¬†for Tri-Rail, Bonnie Arnold, says the man was hit by a southbound train shortly before 5 p.m. and that it did not happen at a crossing. There were no reports of injuries by the trains’ 90 passengers.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Tweeted that investigators had been working at the location.
At this time, no additional information is available regarding the identity of the deceased or the reason behind the accident.
