There’s something for everyone in South Florida in October. Many events are free! Here is a list a some fun events in the Palm Beach County area:

FRIGHT LIGHT LASER SHOW

BOCA PUMPKIN PATCH FESTIVAL

SPOOKYVILLE

BOO AT THE ZOO

Oct. 20-22, 27-29. Boo at the Zoo is back for its 19th year in Palm Beach County’s not-so-scary Halloween tradition.  Enjoy trick-or-treating all around the Zoo, little kids costume contests, strolling famous costume characters, DJ, and special evening hours on Fridays and Saturdays. SHRIEK WEEK & LITE NIGHT

Oct. 20-21, 26-28. Family-friendly Halloween events include Haunted House: Superstitions 6-11 p.m. each night except Oct. 26, when a Lite Nite (less scary, suitable for ages 5-12) will be staged 5-9 p.m.  Tickets $9. FALL FESTIVAL

Oct. 21. There’s so much to do at Wellington’s Fall Festival – trick-or-treating, costume contests, bounce houses, laser tag, inflatable drone center, face painting, pony rides, petting zoo, pie eating contest, food trucks and more. A SPOOK-TACULAR HALLOWEEN

Oct. 28. Free activities in Downtown Delray Beach. Costumes and trick-or-treating along Atlantic Avenue and Pineapple Grove  from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. A Halloween Parade will start at 1 p.m. at the southeast corner of Old School Square Park, heading east through downtown Delray Beach to Veterans Park.
