President Donald Trump is schedule to speak at a campaign-style meeting in Pensacola Friday night. The event, held at the Pensacola Bay Center, begins at 7 p.m. and is expected to draw thousands who are either in favor of the President or protesting against his views.
Roy Moore is not expected to be in attendance, but Trump will likely attempt to bolster Moore’s campaign, since he will be a mere 25 miles or so from the Alabama border.
Moore, who has been accused of sexual misconduct involving teenage girls, has denied any wrongdoing in the accusations made against him which allegedly took place decades ago.
Most analysts believe Trump will focus on tax reform legislation during the rally. The President will most likely discuss North Korea as well.
Saturday, the POTUS will head to Jackson, Mississippi for the opening of a civil rights museum. His presence brings along controversy as several African American say they will not attend due to the President’s visit. U.S. Representative John Lewis of Georgia is among those who say they will skip the event.
