If you missed National Fried Clam Day (July 3) or National Tape Measure Day (July 14), you may need to redeem yourself on National Cheesecake Day (July 30).
Perhaps you are like countless other who forgot to plan for the momentous occasion, never fear – there is still time to take advantage of all of the luscious indulgence of National Cheesecake Day.
The Cheesecake Factory, who revels in the cheesecake 365 days a year, has unveiled its newest creation, the “Celebration Cheesecake”. The dairy-laden dessert is said to be “layers of Original cheesecake , vanilla cake, strawberry, chocolate and vanilla mousse topped with cream cheese frosting and finished with brightly colored confetti.”
To top it off, you can nosh on a slice of any Cheesecake Factory cheesecake in one of its 193 restaurants nationwide on July 30 and 31 for half-off!
Through the end of August, the restaurant will donate 25 cents per slice of “Celebration Cheesecake” to Feeding America, the United States’ largest domestic hunger relief organization.

A personal favorite? Classic Cheesecake from the Tick-Tock Diner in New York. Seriously, It is life-changing. The Midtown Manhattan institution offers New York-style, of course. And the best part? You can get a generous sliver of cream cheese heaven from the iconic diner any time of the day, if they have any left.
So, if you happen to be staying at the attached New Yorker Hotel and suddenly realize you can not live another minute without the Tick-Tock’s pinnacle of cheesecake perfection and go downstairs in your slippers to grab a slice – hypothetically speaking, of course – you could just chalk it up to a celebration of National Cheesecake Day.
Ah, what a great nation we live in, where just about anything can have its day – and sometimes it’s half-price!
