Taylor Swift left her 102 million Instagram followers staring at a blank space as the singer/songwriter has apparently wiped out her social media accounts.
The pop star, 27, swept clean her Tumbler account, and unfollowed all of her followers. Her website content was cleared and the last viewable tweet dates back to 2010.
The Bad Blood singer has been known to create buzz when preparing to launch a new album or make a major announcement. But the timing of these actions seems to be related to her recent court victory.
Swift was sued for $3 million by Colorado radio DJ David Mueller. He claimed that Swift, her mother, and representatives were plotting to destroy his career. Swift countersued for a symbolic $1 and went public with the claim that Mueller had put his hand up her skirt during a 2013 pre-concert photo-op.
The jury sided with Swift and she prevailed in the sexual assault case.
Following the win, Swift released a statement including,
“My hope is to help those whose voices should also be heard. Therefore, I will be making donations in the near future to multiple organizations that help sexual assault victims defend themselves.”
She also reportedly made a “generous” donation to Mariska Hargitay’s JoyfulHeart Foundation which helps sexual assault victims.
Swifties are eager to know what is up with their seemingly fearless leader. Speculation includes a possible reconciliation with well-know rival Katy Perry. Could the two kiss and make up?
