‘The Shape of Water’ leads list of Oscar Nominations with 13 nods

Tiffany Haddish and Andy Serkis hosted the special at 5:22 a.m. Pacific Time. The nominees for best picture include: “Call Me By Your Name,”  “Darkest Hour,” “Dunkirk,” “Get Out,” “Lady Bird,” “Phantom Thread,” “The Post,” “The Shape of Water,” and “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.”

Christopher Plummer, a last-minute swap for Kevin Spacey, scored a nomination supporting actor for his role in “All the Money in the World.” Plummer shares category nominations with Woody Harleson, Richard Jennings, Willem Dafoe and Sam Rockwell.

In the best supporting actress category, nominations went out to: Mary J. Blige for “Mudbound”; Allison Janney for “I, Tonya”; Leslie Manville for “Phantom Thread”; Laurie Metcalf for “Lady Bird”; and Octavia Spencer for “The Shape of Water.”

The 90th annual Academy Awards, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, will be presented live on ABC on February 26.
