According to public documents filed late Thursday in Manhattan Supreme Court, Vanessa Trump filed for divorce against Donald Trump Jr.
The papers state that the divorce is uncontested; there are no indications of a custody battle for the couple’s five children or the family’s assets.
Trump Jr. and Vanessa were married in 2005.
There has been no official statement from the Trump camp regarding the filing.
In February, Vanessa Trump opened a letter addressed to her husband which contained an unidentified white powder. She was briefly hospitalized as a precaution, but the substance turned out to be nonhazardous. A man from Massachusetts was charged with sending the threatening letter.

President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law, Vanessa Trump, has reportedly been taken to a Manhattan hospital as a precautionary measure after she opened a letter sent to her home that contained a white, powdery substance.
The letter was addressed to Vanessa’s husband, Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of Donald Trump and his former wife Invana Trump.
Although there was no indication that the letter contained a hazardous substance or biological agent, three people who were in the Trump’s apartment at the time the envelope was opened were transported to New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center as a measure of extreme precaution.
