The wait is over. The cavernous melting pot of all that is food, Grandview Public Market, is now open! The food hall – think mall food court meets trendy chic restaurants – features 14 different food and beverage options; just about anything and everything your taste buds desire.

A village of twelve vendors sprawls throughout the hall, perhaps anchored by Clare’s restaurant. The Southern chicken joint with a nod to the hall’s Clare Avenue address, describes itself as “a premium chicken and wine shop with sophisticated and healthful grab and go options.” The place is so hot, they reportedly ran out of their Korean chicken sandwiches on Thursday.

There’s a lot to choose from at Grandview, like Grace’s Fine Foods, a full service butcher that offers pasture-raised meats and fresh, handmade sausage. The eatery is also known for serving mouthwatering sandwiches including the popular ‘all day’ breakfast sandwich.

Have a hankering for something sweet? Try out Crema. This modern ice creamery is literally rolling out homemade flavors every day. Don’t forget the warm waffle cones.

Coffee is always a good idea, so don’t leave without visiting Rabbit Coffee. They’re serving cold brew coffee, espresso drinks and teas using only the highest quality coffee beans. Bonus – Rabbit brings out fresh bagels and bialys every morning.

Did we mention there’s an on-site gym? Jacquelyn Quesada, the founder and owner of Studios Etc., has opened her newest location in the market and warehouse district.

The food hall was modeled after famous food havens such as Chelsea Market, so who better to bring it to life in West Palm Beach than developer Chris Vila. The son of Bob Vila of “This Old House” fame, Chris set out to open a chicken place and wound up with an immersive food environment.

The 14,000-square-foot marketplace is a living, breathing culinary experience. The space is meant to evolve so that it remains tempting, even to frequent visitors. Certain to attract events like farmer’s markets and showcases, Grandview Public Market is a savory addition to West Palm Beach’s Warehouse District.

Open Daily 7 a.m.-11 p.m. Grandview Public Market is located at 1401 Clare Ave., West Palm Beach; 561-771-6100 or GrandviewPublic.com
